A Father’s Heart
We became incorporated in September of 2018. Our goal is to help children get out of sex trafficking in Central American countries. We want to educate, feed and really prepare them for life.
We believe extreme poverty is the main cause of human trafficking. Guatemala is only the size of Tennessee and is the number 1 country in Central America for sex trafficking. Over 40,000 children were taken into sex trafficking just last year. Our goal is to prevent that. We believe we can do so by educating the children while trying to curve that extreme poverty level in their lives.
About Orbis and Mary Nieves
As I was sitting meditating on my couch back in 1999, I received a vision from the Lord. In this vision I saw what one can describe as a sea of children as far as the eye can see. My view in this vision was as I was looking down to them as they intently stared up at me in their dirty ragged clothing. I couldn’t help but notice the despair and hopelessness on their dirt stained faces. Their brown eyes were desperately crying out for help. This 3 to 4 second vision reappeared to me five to six times in the following 6 months. Their faces never have left my mind or my heart. It has taken more than twenty years for this vision to come to its fulfillment.
